Mental Health Counselor (LPC-MH) 

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota 
Compensation: $68,000 – $98,000 annually 
Employment Type: Contract

Role Summary 

We are seeking a licensed LPC-MH with strong clinical skill, empathy, and professionalism. This role provides the opportunity to deliver outpatient psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, families, and/or couples depending on your interest and specialties. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, confident in therapeutic decision-making, and committed to ethical, high-quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. 

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy using evidence-based modalities. 

  • Maintain clear, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. 

  • Collaborate with colleagues for consultation and integrative care approaches. 

  • Participate in supervision and/or case consultation as required by credentialing and professional standards. 

  • Engage in ongoing clinical learning and professional development. 

  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold all ethical and legal standards of practice.

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or related behavioral health field. 

  • Active LPC-MH license in South Dakota. 

  • Clinical experience in outpatient mental health preferred. 

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clients. 

  • Compassionate, grounded, and committed to professional growth.
