What is Teen Therapy?
Teen therapy is a structured, therapeutic process designed to support adolescents as they navigate emotional, social, and developmental challenges. It provides a confidential space where teens can explore their feelings, learn healthy coping strategies, strengthen self-esteem, improve communication skills, and better understand their thoughts and behaviors. Common areas addressed in teen therapy include anxiety, depression, stress, identity development, school or peer concerns, family conflict, and adjustment to life changes. The therapist works collaboratively with the teen to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and improved overall functioning.
