Meet our Staff
I empower individuals and couples to identify concerns and issues within themselves and their relationships that impede a healthy, productive relationship and lifestyle. I have worked with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families since opening my private practice in 2012. Research shows that healthy communication in relationships, as well as balancing body, mind, and spirit substantiate and enhance one’s ability to live a longer, more fulfilling life.

Heidi Bestgen is a trauma survivor and layperson co-facilitating a trauma support group with RCC staff. Heidi provides layman's first-hand experience in trauma and applying the Christian faith to establish coping strategies that complement evidence-based skills. Heidi will use what she has learned about trauma to support group classes to assist clients to better understand what trauma is as well as insight on different tools that can help with trauma recovery. Heidi spends her free time enjoying family, traveling, hiking, nature, trail riding, and off-road ATV fun.
Co-Facilitator Anger Management
We all face challenges and hurdles in life, and while we may share those common experiences, the way we handle those stresses can vary from person to person. My goal as an Anger Management instructor is to utilize group processing as a way to learn new approaches in recognizing triggers and how to take control of responses to those triggers in a healthy and constructive manner.
I have 13 years experience in Human Services working with children in school systems, adolescents in juvenile detention centers, and adults going through treatment facilities. I recognize the value in group classes and in finding common ground with people who are searching for healthy solutions to similar problems.
