Mental Health Clinician | Owner
I empower individuals and couples to identify concerns and issues within themselves and their relationships that impede a healthy, productive relationship and lifestyle. I have worked with individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families since opening my private practice in 2012. Research shows that healthy communication in relationships, as well as balancing body, mind, and spirit substantiate and enhance one’s ability to live a longer, more fulfilling life.
Pre-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Life can be very difficult, and my main focus is to help you navigate these difficulties and use each one of them as an opportunity to grow first in your relationship to yourself and then in your relationship with others. My goal is to help you receive measurable improvements quickly utilizing elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Self Compassion,
Positive Psychology, EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique, Somatic therapy techniques, and more.
In my clinical work, I guide and empower individuals, couples, and families to identify and reconcile issues within themselves and their relationships. I currently hold an active license in South Dakota as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Since 2007, I have worked with adults in a variety of clinical settings and positions. I acquired my Masters of Science through Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with focuses on forensic, trauma, and military psychology.
Jennifer Freyensee, MEd, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
I have worked with children and families more than 30 years in various capacities. I was a teacher for ten years, a guidance counselor for eleven years and a mental health therapist from 2006-the present. I have lived in a number of states, cities and towns from the Chicago and Dallas suburbs to very small towns in Wyoming, and I have had life changing experiences which have broadened my horizons in each setting.
My goal in therapy is to reach my clients of all ages, build their self-esteem and find tools they can use each day to overcome life's challenges.
